There is an old song that says… “Life is but a dream….”
That may be true. I mean, there is some Buddhist and Zen type teachings which say all of this is merely a dream. Life. It is all one continuous flowing dream, with no birth and no death.
It has also been proposed that with the overlapping of time…… the warping of it, metaphysically, that we are simultaneously in a different space and time than we are now. That it is all multidimensional. And parallel.
All of these things also put forth that we just conceive reality the way we do, because our “way of thinking” is all we’ve ever known. We can’t comprehend the other possibilities.
It is sort of like people who are born without eyesight. They really can’t comprehend the “seeing” world.
I don’t rush to judgement on anything. I think the possibilities of this world, this universe, are endless.
But most days, this feels pretty real to me.
On snappy-happy days… this is all fine and good, either way.
On bad days.. I wish someone would pinch me if I’m dreaming.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. — Langston Hughes
Why does the eye see a thing more clearly in dreams than the imagination when awake? — Leonardo da Vinci
