Today, I was hanging with Lew. Lou. Loooooo.
We went out to pee. Well, Lew was going outside to pee. I just tag along, because he won’t have it any other way. But. While we were there, we looked around a bit.
The both of us nosed around the Koi Pond for a minute. The resident fish are about 20 pounds heavier than he is. Each. And right now they are sleeping. They will wake up when the weather turns warm. He fears them.
We checked the bird feeders, the deer trough, a couple of foot paths. We looked for the magic rock. We inspected the shrubs, and all the dead plants. He fears a lot of that too. It was a big day for the both of us. Really big.
Tonight, he said, “Dang, Polly. We had a very big day. I think you should take the night off.”
So I said, “Ok.”
