By the roots

I have a sister named Sue. When she was a kid, she got popped a good one and ended up with a shiner. Suddenly, she was a Black-eyed Susan.

I do not have a sister named Rose, or Daisy, or Petunia. No Lilly either. But that would have been neat.

Other siblings, I might have had but did not….. like….

My sister with the one leg shorter than the other. Eileen.

The square sister, who is always trying to fit into popular circles. Peg.

My fishing brother… the one with all the lures. Bob.

The musical guy. He’s a DJ. Mike.

Sweaty, athletic brother. Jim.

The motorhead who is always lifting up cars. Jack.

Oh, this could go on all night. But the truth is, I didn’t have much else to say tonight. At least, not that I could say here, without hacking a bunch of people off.

So. That’s all for tonight folks. Oh… but there is my one brother who says I cannot charge you for any of this. Bill.
