You can call me…

We are all individuals. Unique. One unto ourselves. We all talk a certain way, and walk as we do. Or waddle, or limp a little on the left side. We have our hair, our fancy wraps, and our very fine shoes. Or not.  Our noses. Some of us bigger than others.

And our names. (Our dates of births, too.) The “I” in “We.” Wait. There is no “I” in we. But there is in Individual.

Which brings me to me. I mean, I am writing this, so for now, it is all about me.

Polly Kronenberger.  I am the only one.

Well, I am the only Polly Kronenberger in the United States of America. However, there are 35,918 people in the U.S. with the first name Polly — making it the 1003rd most popular first name.  Yet, I would say we are pretty low on the totem pole. Polly, want a cracker?

I mean, take Bob Smith. There are 5,144,471 Roberts here in the U.S. That does not even count guys just named Bob. Or Bobby. But Robert is the 3rd most popular first name.

So back to me. There are 631 people in the U.S. with the last name Kronenberger. Statistically the 39678th most popular last name.

And Smith? There are 2,876,243 people in the U.S. with the last name Smith.
That is the Number One name in the U.S. But put Robert Smith together and there are 45,315 of them.

As for Polly Kronenberger? Yes.  Again. Only one of me in the United States. If someone steals my identity, I am screwed. At least if you are Amy Johnson, you have a whole bunch of other Amy’s you could take.

I love to do this. And you might like to as well. It is How Many of Me? http://howmanyofme.com/search/. But if you travel over there, be sure to come visit Kid Wednesday again. There is only one of me here, and it gets lonely when you leave.

Plus, I have an added bonus. Don’t get too excited. It is not the FREE Set of Ginsu Knives! No. It is the day-you-were-born-finder. You would think it would be pretty even across the board, but it is not.

My birthday is April 29th. It ranks 323rd. Apparently, this same device gives the conception date of birth. And for my birthday of April 29, the conception occurred on August 6th. Most people were not getting busy on August 6th. With the exception of my parents, of course.  As I mentioned.  April 29 is 323/365.

The number one birthday is September 9. Conception date? One week before Christmas on December 17. Ho. Ho. Ho.

And the birthday that brings up the rear, the very least ranking, is December 25. Ho. Ho. Ho again. The conception date for Christmas is April 3. Which is just 2 days after April Fool’s Day. Another case in point. Fool me once? Shame on you. Fool me twice? Shame on me.

If you would like to have this finding-out-fun, you can visit http://thedailyviz.com/2016/09/17/how-common-is-your-birthday-dailyviz/

Mouse over the calendar at the top to find your birthday. There is also a long list of rankings. Hours and hours of fun for the entire family. Conception dates, and all!

But please be careful out there kids.

Remember, if the grass looks greener on the other side, it is most likely because there is lots of manure over there. And also, keep in mind this very wise quote from Joss Whedon “Remember to always be yourself. Unless you suck.”
