The Big Sights

Tonight, I briefly looked at the same potted plant for a few moments and saw all of the scenes displayed here on this page.

It all depended on where I was standing, what I was pay attention to,  or even what caught my eye.

And in just a few brief moments I had several different perspectives.

Isn’t that the “all of us” with our different perspectives on life’s situations?  Four people can be in the same room, see the same thing, and hear the same words.

But moments later, you will have four different stories about what transpired.

We are products of our circumstances and conditioning.
We are the way we are, because of our individual life experience.
We grew up knowing what we were taught.  And we saw what was put before us.

Sometimes we continue to grow and expand our views.  Sometimes we don’t.

I think it helps when we move around a little bit and get a different look at things.  To be open and willing to continued life learning.  Not only with our heads, but with our hearts.

To see all that there is to see.
