The big nosy.

(The photos are from over the years.  Ones that I have on hard drives.  Never processed. But a few are now! )

It is funny how we think of things, right out of the clear blue. Absolutely, out of nowhere. The human brain has a way of skipping around. Kind of like when you skip a rock across a pond. It skids from one point to the next, again and again, and finally, plunk. The thoughts go into obscurity.

Our brains. Jumping all about. Just like Nosey Parker. I thought of this term a little while ago. For no reason. I can remember someone calling me a Nosy Parker, once. I had never heard the term before, and I laughed and laughed. For the next week, I tried to use it on conversations. You Nosy Parker You.

The thing about our minds, is, we probably will never fully understand how they work. I woke up this morning, having had a dream of epic proportions. It was one of those that takes you from point A to point G, in a flash. And it misses everything in between. Despite the gaps, the dream felt incredibly cohesive.

It made total sense that I was in some sort of an Expo Center, at a competition of contraptions. But one of them had to be removed. This was quite the endeavor, and I was thoroughly involved. And then, in the next moment, I was in a bank, trying to get a PIN card, capable of dolling out money. But to sign up for the services, I had to shell out $400,000 for various items to enable my account. One of them was a little Popeye-like doll, which was going to cost me $35,500. I was incensed. People were there that I haven’t seen for decades in real life. But it all made perfect sense. In my deep sleep.

Which brings me to this. If we humans can’t even understand the workings of our own minds, how can we ever claim to know the clockworks of the Universe? We are but tiny droplets in the ocean of existence.

We will never fully understand, nor were we meant to, I suppose. Perhaps, we can only grow in our greater awareness, by giving in to the notion of believing.

Believing in the unknown, and the unexplainable. And with that, we continue to search in the infinity of this place. And by this seeking, we gain little wisdoms along the way. Incrementally. Small discoveries.

So we continue to look. And search. Nosing around. Me. You.

Yes. You.
Nosy Parker, you.
