Stress, or.

We are at our best when we keep the dance in our hearts. And when we lose it, or misplace it, we are completely out of step.

There was a fair amount of stress in my day. Probably not the kind that would bother most people. But I can really get myself worked up over things. Little worry turns in to big worry for me. Not all the time. But today it surely did.

I also had a great deal to do. So that made my angst a little heavier every time I turned around. There were a lot of little things adding up. That dance was all but gone.

And. This evening, I had a Board meeting. It was my last meeting as this year’s President. We had a massive agenda and the meeting went pretty long.

So tonight, I just wanted to come home, and completely relax. Well, that didn’t really happen either. There were several things which had to be done including the calls and cares of precious little Lewis. And when I finally sat down to write this thing, our internet was traveling at the speed of snail, slug, and sloth combined. I had to traipse upstairs and reset the radio and the router. No waltz. No tap. No tango.

Well, you know what? Big dang deal Kronenberger. Honest to goodness. Big freakin’ deal. Seriously. Hard cheese baby.

What the true story SHOULD be is this: I am fortunate in so many ways. I have been given much. Everywhere I look is something to be thankful for. Innumerable blessings. Gifts of goodness. In some cases, all out miracles.

So when I succumb to the stress, or when I get edgy because things don’t quite go the way I want them to, I need to step back. I need to hear the music and put that beat right back in my heart. Let the dance begin. There is beauty, and goodness, and abundance. In every minute.

And if I can not see it, I simply am not looking. Nor am I dancing. And it is up to me to get my groove back.
