Can you imagine?

Each and every day. … ..the shear delight we have in our very midst.  There is so much right before us, filled with grace and goodness.  Sometimes, when we have these things, we take them for granted.  But, we will surely miss them when they are not here.

It could be a breathtaking sunset on a crisp winter night.
Or the smile of your dog, when she wakes up and looks to you.

The smell of a sweet apple, just after its been sliced in halves.

Looking out your window and seeing…… in the very same moment…. a red fox jumping through the snow, a pileated woodpecker feasting on a suet block, and a large flicker waiting in line for next opening, on the same block.

Can you imagine how very amazing this world can be?  If we can only notice.

Noticing.  It takes time.  We all have crappy days.  Some of us are filled with worry, or angst, or even anger.  But imagine.  If we could expand our awareness to the environment we are in.

If we could notice… truly take count of our surroundings.  What colors, what sounds, and smells, and details, and miracles.

There always seems to be a big hurry, to get where we need to be.  Or to finish this, so we can get on with that.   There’s a lot to do when you have chickens to tackle…. and rocks to hunt.

But right here, exactly in front of us,  is a pretty good place to be.  If we notice.

Amazing.  And Grace.
