Once a year. With a bow.

Well.  Dang it.  Here it is, Christmas.  And I forgot about doing the rest of the 12 Days of  Christmas.  I think I did a mash-up of the first three.  But, then…. as they say on the proverbial baseball diamond… I dropped the ball.

Far be it from me to let anyone down here.
So.. a quick wrap-it-up.
Anyway… all of you know this by now.  What do you need me for?  But we will forge ahead.
4 Calling Birds (Can you hear me now.)
5 Gold Rings (Stylin’!  One for each finger, right hand or left)
6 Geese a-Laying (Chicken eggs are better.)
7 Swans a-Swimming (Ugly ducklings reborn)
8 Maids a-Milking (Calcium.  It does a body good)
9 Ladies Dancing (Disco Party Baby)
10 Lords a-Leaping (Like lizards, but better)
11 Pipers Piping (That’s a bunch of Plumbers)
12 Drummers Drumming… (Do they march to the beat of a different one?)
and of course 3 French Hens, 2 Turtle Doves, and that good old Partridge in a Pear Tree.

The next question is just begging to be asked.

If you had to pick one of these “to be”… which one would you be?

For me it is easy.  My favorite number is 7 and I love to swim… so Seven Swans A-Swimming.  But only if it is warm out.  So… given that it is December when we sing this… I’d have to run with Ten Lords A-Leaping.  I think I would make a good Lord-A-Leaping.  In fact… I might just get to it right now.. and leap around a bit.

So a very Merry Christmas to You.  Happy Hanukkah.  Happy Holidays.  Wishing you a wonderful Bohdi Day, a terrific  Ashura, and an amazing Yule or Winter Solstice.

May your day be filled with beautiful blessings… peaceful moments, and joyful surprises.

As for me?  I rarely look before I leap… which makes for an precarious Lord-A-Leaping.  Here goes nothing.  Like a Lizard.  But better.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.
