There seems to be some sort of disruption in the Writing Universe today, as the words are not coming to me. There are a multitude of topics to address. Especially in the way of Washington. But when I weigh the level of energy that must go in to the discussion, versus the benefits of the outcome, it seems like a very low return on investment.
So. Instead. I thought maybe I would hit the Random Word Generator site, and see what it would give me. I vowed to write about whatever word came up. It generated “Frighten.”
That seems to line right up with the whole thought of the current situation with our Government. It certainly frightens me.
Regardless, “Frighten” is one of those words we don’t really WANT to bump into. I have been plenty frightened before. For various reasons. It doesn’t happen often, thankfully. But when it does, it scares the bejeezus out of me.
I wonder. If you are happy, do your “bejeezus” levels fill back up?
I had to look up “bejeezus” to see if I could ferret out some information on this. As it goes, the definition was of no help whatsoever.

Well, now I’m really shanked. I’m not even Irish. Not even a bit. Perhaps then, when I am frightened, the bejeezus isn’t really leaving my body at all.
Given my German Heritage, maybe things scare the Wiener Schnitzel right out of me.
It isn’t as much fun to say. And, well, the imagery of such a thing is not flattering. Getting the Weiner Schnitzel scared right out of you.
Those self-help gurus are always saying we should doing something every day that scares us.
My thoughts on all of this? My good advice for the day?
Do things that scare me? Hell no. I like my Wiener Schnitzel right where it is.
