Good and the other

It is a big ball we live on.

I saw on the news where someone broke into a business and stole a bunch of stuff. Most newscasts go that way. Something going wrong, somewhere.

One of those days, is one of those days.

The bottom line, there are good people in the world.
And some not so good people.

People who are really trying, and people who don’t give a darn.

When we are little, we are taught to share, and to play nice with one another. Some people really figured that one out and held on to it all the way into adulthood. Then there are those who always hogged the ball. And they still do.

Tonight on the news, I saw where rich people, and celebrities, have been buying and bribing colleges so that their kids can get in. Spending big money for privilege. Hogging the ball.

I just know, it ebbs and flows. Comes and goes. Rises and recedes.

Equanimity and equitable are two of my favorite words. Equanimity means mental calmness. It is composure, and evenness of temper. It means approaching things with serenity and tranquility, especially in a difficult situation. And equitable means to be fair and just.

Good words.
It seems good people know the good words.  They share them all around.

And they don’t hog the ball.
