Fish or Box

What a day this has been.  Our geese went missing….

Apparently… they got thirsty today.  So they walked into the Camden Bar and ordered a couple of beers.  The bartender said… “Eight bucks.”  The geese said, “Just put it on our bill.”

That wasn’t all that went missing.   I could not find my Apple watch.  And….. I was going to look for that old missing watch, but I could never find the time.

Some of my pals have been having a rough time of it… speaking of time.

A friend of mine, Gerty, has been looking for a job.  Thankfully, she was hired on at Hot Dog Haven.  However.  She got fired from the hotdog stand for putting her hair in a bun.

Another guy I know… Freddy…. is a pretty good Fisherman.  He tried boxing, but he only threw hooks.

We went to watch his first boxing match.  It was a disaster.  The whole “hook” thing.  But we all decided to go out for Dessert afterward.  One of my friends, Anthony ….. dropped his box of Italian pastries on the floor.  I cannoli imagine what he must be going through.

Yes.  What a day, what a day.   When we got home, Freddy was waiting at our house.  Since the boxing thing didn’t work out, he was hoping to get on as a Dairy Inspector.  He asked if I had any advice.  To which I said….”If you are among the cream of dairy inspectors, nothing cheesy gets pasteurize.”

He went on to say that Dairy Inspectors sometimes have to figure mathematical equations when working with the ratios in the tanks.  Again.. he asked for my advice.  I said.. “Freddy.  Wear your glasses when you do math……  because it improves division.”

At least this evening, we got a phone call with some good news.  Uncle Martin….. … who fell into an upholstery machine… is fully recovered.

So as you see, another very full day.

And a very good night.

Oh.  And, the geese waddled home.   They never drink and drive.  Drink and waddle yes.  Drive, no.
