Day Up, Day Down

Today, as is true of most days, had its ups and downs.

What goes up must come down, or so they say.  Mostly the wind and the rain came down… no matter how hard I tried to change it.  Every once in a while the sun peaked out, but those occasions were rare.  And when it did sneak about,  it warmed things up in all the wrong places.  The weather was sort of the same way.   But that’s just how things go sometimes.

So, just a few photos from the day.  Eh?

Today, as I mentioned, was too windy for words.  This guy, and his boat, made a futile attempt of going out to the high seas.  The whole mess go caught up on the ocean bottom near shore.  He had to get out and give the boat a shove.  Sometimes the wind will push you where you don’t want to go.

Every morning, I have been taking my long walk on the beach, no matter wind or rain.  This large flock of birds is always in the same place.  They aren’t so crazy about humans. But I like them.  I tell them so.  They fly away regardless.

This is an old abandoned pier a ways down the beach from us.  There are typically a whole big bunch of gulls on this dock.  Not today.  Gale force winds.  Seagulls were on a 2-hour-delay.

This afternoon, I spotted the top of this coconut resting in the parking lot.   Actually, I am pretty sure it was dead.

We had massages today.  Not as good as home, sweet, home…. I’ll tell you that much right now.

Tonight we had dinner at the Lighthouse.  Not such a great experience either.

And finally, some Euchre.  That was fun.  Jesse & I sneaked out a win.  We knew when to quit.

And I know when to quit writing. Sometimes.

I bid you Good Night.  Or Good Morning.  Down, or Up, as I mentioned before.
