Bad Art, Good Folk

Tonight we had the pleasure of attending Bad Art, Good Folk.  It is an event hosted by the Preble County Art Association.

Wow, do I love this event!  It is so crazy good.  Okay.  So I am a teensy bit biased.  I happen to be the President of the Board of Directors this year.   But let’s put that aside.  This event rocks.

And here is why.

Our Art Association touches lives.  It connects people.  Of all walks of life.  From the very young to the creaky old.  The poor, the tall, the smart, the rich, the fast, and the shy.  From highly skilled artists, to the paint-impaired.  Everyone.

Tonight, our community, showed tremendous support for the Preble County Art Association.  Not only is it exciting to see this kind of backing, it is heart-warming.  It is hopeful.  It is magic.

I just want to thank everyone, from the Good Folk Artists who participated, to the committees, the workers, the board, the director, and to every person there, showing support.

This is when the world seems like an okay place to be.  Like a world of positive thinking and acceptance.  A world filled with color and creativity.  Good folk…. doing good art.  And more.

A world of love.
